One moment you might be helping a customer find the perfect paintbrush, the next you're pricing reclaimed supplies, organizing merchandise, processing trade-ins, or helping keep the store looking its best. Positions Available

  • Store Associates are the heart of Starlandia's daily operations. They create a welcoming experience for customers while helping keep the store organized, stocked, and running smoothly. Applicants should have prior retail experience


    Responsibilities

    • assisting customers

    • operating the register

    • pricing and merchandising new and reclaimed supplies

    • accepting trade-ins

    • maintaining clean and organized sales floors and work areas

    • supporting general store operations.


    Compensation

    • $16.00 per hour

    • 15 – 30 hours per week

  • The Fabric & Textile Associate is responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience in Starlandia's fabric department while helping build and maintain an inspiring, organized selection of new and reclaimed textiles.  Applicants should have prior retail experience and experience in fabrics, fibers, sewing, quilting, costume design, fashion, or other textile arts.


    Responsibilities

    • assisting customers with fabric selection and project planning

    • processing, measuring, pricing, and merchandising fabrics and textile-related supplies

    • accepting and evaluating reclaimed materials

    • maintaining a clean, organized department.


    Compensation

    • $16.00 per hour

    • 20–35 hours per week
